dc.description.abstractEl presente estudio buscó determinar los factores asociados a la tuberculosis latenteen trabajadores de salud del segundo nivel durante la pandemia por COVID-19 en Trujillo, 2022. La investigación fue aplicada, no experimental, retrospectiva yanalítica, en un diseño donde participaron 38 casos y 114 controles seleccionados através de muestreo aleatorio simple. Los resultados mostraron que del grupo de trabajadores con ITBL, 84.2% eran mujeres, 31.6% tenían entre 25 a 34 años, 15.8% consumían alcohol y 5.3% tabaco; 23.7% presentaron algún tipo de obesidadtipo 1 y 2, 60.5% tenían sobrepeso; el tiempo de servicio fue similar en ambos grupos; además 5.3% de casos manifestó antecedente familiar de TB, mientras queel grupo control ninguno; 71,1% de casos trabajó en áreas de alto riesgo, frente a 14.9% de controles. El análisis mostró que los factores asociados a ILTB, fueron el consumo de alcohol (OR:4,08), obesidad (OR:2,63), antecedente familiar de TB(OR:3,22) y trabajar en zona de alto riesgo (OR:14,00). Se concluye que el consumo de alcohol, obesidad, antecedente familiar de TB y trabajar en zona de alto riesgo fueron factores de riesgo para desarrollo de ITBL en trabajadores de salud del segundo niveles_PE
dc.description.abstractThe present study aimed to determine the factors associated with latent tuberculosis in second level health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Trujillo, 2022. The research was applied, non- experimental, retrospective and analytical, in a design in which 38 cases and 114 controls selected through simplerandom sampling participated. The results showed that of the group of workers with LTBI, 84.2% were women, 31.6% were between 25 and 34 years old, 15.8% consumed alcohol and 5.3% smoked; 23.7% had some type of obesity type 1 and2, 60.5% were overweight; the length of service was similar in both groups; in addition, 5.3% of cases had a family history of TB, while the control group had none; 71.1% of cases worked in high-risk areas, compared to 14.9% of controls. The analysis showed that the factors associated with ILTB were alcohol consumption (OR:4.08), obesity (OR:2.63), family history of TB (OR:3.22) and working in high-risk areas (OR:14.00). It is concluded that alcohol consumption, obesity, family history of TB and working in a high-risk area were risk factors for the development of LTBI in second level health workerses_PE
