El sistema de tutoría y la inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes de la Escuela de Idiomas de la Universidad César Vallejo Trujillo - 2013

Abstract

El presente estudio es de tipo relacional y se desarrolló durante los meses de Abril a Junio del 2013 con la finalidad de determinar en qué medida el Sistema de Tutoría implementado por el Vicerrectorado de Asuntos Estudiantiles de la Universidad César Vallejo de Trujillo influye en el nivel de inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes de los VII y VIII ciclos de la escuela de Idiomas de la Facultad de Educación e Idiomas de Trujillo. La muestra estuvo constituida por 24 estudiantes de los VII y VIII ciclos de la Escuela de Idiomas de la Universidad César Vallejo de Trujillo. En esta investigación se midió el nivel de inteligencia emocional con un test denominado “test de inteligencia emocional” y se evaluó al Sistema de Tutoría con un instrumento validado denominado “encuesta para medir el sistema de tutoría”. Los resultados indicaron que la Inteligencia Emocional y el Sistema de Tutoría tienen una relación directa y significativa ya que el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman es de 0.523 queriendo decir que el Sistema de Tutoría de la Universidad César Vallejo de Trujillo influye positivamente en la inteligencia emocional de los estudiantes de VII y VIII ciclos de la escuela de Idiomas de la Facultad de Educación e Idiomas de la Universidad César Vallejo de Trujillo.

This research is a relational study and was developed during the months of April and June 2013 in order to determine the influence of the Mentoring Program implemented by the Vicerrectorado de Asuntos Estudiantiles of the Cesar Vallejo University of Trujillo in the level of the emotional intelligence of the language students of the VII and VIII cycles of the faculty of Education and Languages of Trujillo. The sample consisted of 24 students of VII and VIII cycles of the School of Languages of the Cesar Vallejo University of Trujillo. This research measured the level of emotional intelligence with a test named “test of emotional intelligence” and evaluated the Mentoring Program with a validated instrument named “Survey to measure the Mentoring Program”. The results indicated that the emotional intelligence and the Mentoring Program have a direct and significant relation because of the Spearnan coefficient of 0,523; that means that the Mentoring Program of the Cesar Vallejo University of Trujillo influences positively in the emotional intelligence of the students of the VII and VIII cycles of the School of Languages of the faculty of Education of the Cesar Vallejo University of Trujillo.
