dc.description.abstract | Determinar la relación entre el estado nutricional y la calidad de vida
de los estudiantes del segundo ciclo del programa de medicina de la
Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, inscritos durante el periodo 2024-10.
Materiales y método: Se realizó un estudio observacional de corte transversal,
evaluando a 150 estudiantes del segundo ciclo del programa de medicina de la
Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego, aplicándose el consentimiento informado,
una ficha de recolección de datos y el cuestionario de calidad de vida en salud.
Resultados: El 54% eran del sexo femenino y el 46% del sexo masculino. El
94.7% correspondían al rango de edad de 17-21 años, el 4% se encontraba
entre los 22-26 años y el 1.3% entre los 27-30 años. El 2.7% presentaba bajo
peso, el 60% se encontraba dentro del peso normal, 24% presentaba
sobrepeso, 10.7% tenía obesidad tipo 1 y el 1.3% correspondía a obesidad tipo
2, de manera similar a obesidad tipo 3. El 52.7% presentó buena calidad de
vida y un 47.3% mala calidad de vida. Se evidenció que el estado nutricional y
la calidad de vida presentaron una relación estadísticamente significativa
(p=0.006)
Conclusiones: Existe relación estadísticamente significativa positiva de
intensidad baja entre el estado nutricional y la calidad de vida de los estudiantes
del programa de medicina del segundo ciclo. | es_PE |
dc.description.abstract | To determine the relationship between nutritional status and quality
of life of students in the second cycle medical program at Antenor Orrego Private
University, enrolled during the 2024-10 period.
Materials and method: A cross-sectional observational study was conducted,
evaluating 150 students from the second cycle of the medicine program at the
Antenor Orrego Private University, applying informed consent, a data collection
form and the health quality of life questionnaire.
Results: 54% were female and 46% were male. 94.7% corresponded to the
age range of 17-21 years, 4% were between 22-26 years, and 1.3% were
between 27-30 years. 2.7% were underweight, 60% were within normal weight,
24% were overweight, 10.7% had type 1 obesity, and 1.3% had type 2 obesity,
similarly to type 3 obesity. 52.7% had a good quality of life and 47.3% had a
poor quality of life. It was found that nutritional status and quality of life had a
statistically significant relationship (p=0.006)
Conclusions: There is a statistically significant positive relationship of low
intensity between nutritional status and quality of life of students in the second
