Nivel de conocimiento sobre manejo de la urgencia del diente avulsionado en estudiantes de estomatología UPAO - Trujillo 2018.

Abstract

Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre manejo del diente avulsionado en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego -Trujillo 2018 Metodología: El estudio fue observacional, Participaron 101 estudiantes de estomatología de Clínica I, Clínica II e Internado estomatológico el cual se les aplico un cuestionario de 10 ítems para medir el nivel de conocimiento sobre el manejo de urgencia del diente avulsionado. Se empleó la prueba no paramétrica de chi cuadrado (x2) con un nivel de significancia del 5% (p<0.05). Resultado: El 73.27% obtuvieron un nivel regular, 22.77% fue malo y 3.96% bueno sobre el manejo de la urgencia del dientes avulsionado. Conclusión: El nivel de conocimiento fue regular sobre el manejo de la urgencia del diente avulsionado en los estudiantes de estomatología; se recomienda implementar cursos en primeros auxilios sobre trauma dental en especial sobre el diente avulsionado.

Determine the level of knowledge on management of the avulsed tooth in stomatology students of the private University Antenor Orrego -Trujillo 2018 Methodology: The observational study was attended by 101 stomatology students from clininc I, the clinic II and internship of stomatology, who were administered a 10-item questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge about the emergency management of the avulsed tooth. The non-parametric chi-square test (x2) with a level of significance of 5% (p <0.05) was used. Result: 73.27% obtained a regular level, 22.77% was bad and 3.96% good on the management of the urgency of the avulsed teeth. Conclusion: The level of knowledge was regular on the management of the urgency of the avulsed tooth in stomatology students; it is recommended to implement courses in first aid on dental trauma, especially on the avulsed tooth.
