dc.description.abstract | El trabajo demuestra la existencia de relación entre estrés académico e ideación
suicida, además se considera un estudio descriptivo y correlacional, teniendo un
tamaño muestral conformado por una población de 140 estudiantes del VIII y IX
ciclo de la Escuela de Medicina Humana. Para ello, el Inventario SISCO de estrés
académico y la Escala de Ideación Suicida de Beck, ambas adaptadas al
contexto nacional, fueron empleados como instrumentos para recolectar datos.
Entre los hallazgos se identificó que en la muestra predomina el nivel promedio
alto del estrés académico (51.4%) y el nivel bajo de la ideación suicida (96.4%).
Además, se halló que existe una relación altamente significativa entre las dos
variables (p= <.01). Para concluir, se ha determinado que, dentro de la población,

dc.description.abstract | The work demonstrates the existence of a relationship between academic stress
and suicidal ideation, it is also considered a substantive and correlational study,
having a sample size made up of a population of 140 students of the VIII and IX
cycle of the School of Human Medicine. To this end, the SISCO Inventory of
Academic Stress and the Beck Suicidal Ideation Scale, both adapted to the
national context, were used as instruments to collect data. Among the findings, it
