Sistema de gestión ambiental ISO 14001 y su relación con la imagen corporativa de Escacorp S.A.C Trujillo La Libertad año 2018

Abstract

El presente estudio se realizó con el propósito de determinar un “Sistema de gestión ambiental ISO 14001 y su relación con la imagen corporativa de Escacorp S.A.C. Trujillo La Libertad año 2018”. Se utilizó el diseño correlacional de corte transversal, que permitió describir la relación de ambas variables empleando dos técnicas: observación y encuesta; teniendo como población a los clientes y colaboradores de la corporación. Se consideró como muestra representativa a 381 clientes y 74 trabajadores de Escacorp S.A.C, Trujillo año 2018. A través de los resultados de la investigación se identificó el nivel de cumplimiento de la norma ISO 14001 según los requisitos acordes a la corporación, se determinó el contexto de la organización en la norma, así como la opinión de los colaboradores y clientes sobre su implementación en el proceso operativo de la empresa. De ésta manera se determinó a través del diagnóstico situacional del ISO 14001, que el nivel de cumplimiento de la norma es mediano con 49.7%, teniendo que mejorar los apartados de requisitos legales, toma de conciencia, auditoría interna y mejora continua. Con respecto a la imagen corporativa, las dimensiones de autoimagen e imagen intencional se encontraron en un rango alto mientras que la imagen pública estuvo en un rango medio. Se utilizó la tau-b de kendall de las variables analizadas siendo igual a 0,508 teniendo una correlación alta entre las variables. Finalmente, se concluyó que un Sistema de Gestión Ambiental ISO 14001 se relaciona de manera positiva generando una mejora en la imagen corporativa de Escacorp S.A.C. Trujillo año 2018.

The present study has been carried out for the purpose of determining an ““ISO 14001 environmental management system and its relationship with the corporate image of Escacorp S.A.C. Trujillo La Libertad year 2018”. The cross-sectional correlational design was used, which describes the relationship of both variables, using two techniques: observation and survey; fearing as a population the clients and collaborators of the corporation. A representative sample was considered to be 381 clients and 74 workers by Escacorp S.A.C, Trujillo, 2018. The results of the investigation have allowed to identify the level of compliance with ISO 14001 according to the requirements according to the corporation, determine the context of the organization in the standard and the opinion of the collaborators and clients on the implementation of this standard in the operational process of the company. In this way it has been determined through the situational diagnosis of ISO 14001, that the level of compliance of the standard is medium with 49.7%, having to improve the sections of legal requirements, awareness, internal audit and continuous improvement. With respect to the corporate image, the dimensions of self-image and intentional image are in a high range while the public image is in the middle range. The kendall tau-b of the analyzed variables was used, being equal to 0.508 having a high correlation between the variables. Finally, it was concluded that an environmental management system ISO 14001 is related in a positive manner, generating an improvement in the corporate image of Escacorp S.A.C. Trujillo year 2018.
