angulación α, angulación β y angulación γ, angulación Go y la clase esquelética ANB.
The objective of the present study is to determine the relationship between the angular
position of the lower third molar and the skeletal class in subjects 18 to 30 years of age,
The present work is retrospective, transversal, descriptive, observational. The work was
developed at a Radiological Center “Digital Dent”of Trujillo and included a total of 120
cephalometric analyzes. (69 woman and 51 men).
To determine the relationship between the angular position of the lower third molar and the
skeletal classes, the information was collected in statistical tables using the Duncan test
with a level of significance of 5 % where the following parameters were used: angulation
α, angulation β y angulation γ, angulation Go and tha skeletal class ANB. The results
allow us to conclude that there is no significant difference in the angulations α, β, γ and Go
with respect to the skeletal class ANB (I, II and III); however in skeletal clas III an average
of 128.31° (s=9.277); where we can say that the angular position GO between the skeletal
class I vs II and II vs III is not significant difference however if there is among the skeletal
class II vs III.
