Nivel de información y grado de ansiedad del familiar durante la espera quirúrgica. Hospital belén de Trujillo - 2014

Abstract

El presente estudio de investigación de tipo descriptivo-correlacional y de corte transversal, se realizó en 60 familiares en la sala de espera del servicio de Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Belén de Trujillo, con el propósito de determinar la asociación que existe entre el nivel de información y el grado de ansiedad del familiar durante la espera quirúrgica. Se obtuvieron los datos a través de la aplicación de dos instrumentos: un cuestionario que mide el nivel de información tomado de Molter y una escala que mide el grado de ansiedad tomado de Aguilar. Las conclusiones fueron: El 51.7 % de los familiares presentaron nivel de información malo durante el tiempo de espera quirúrgica, el 41.7% de ellos presentaron ansiedad máxima durante el tiempo de espera quirúrgica; y, finalmente, se determinó que existe asociación altamente significativa entre el nivel de información y el grado de ansiedad del familiar durante la espera quirúrgica.

The present descriptive-correlational and cross-sectional research study was realized in 60 relatives in Surgery Center´s Waiting Room of Hospital Belen de Trujillo, in order to determine the association between the degree of information and the level of anxiety the relatives during the surgical waiting. The dates were obtained through the application of two instruments: A questionnaire that measures the level of information taken from Molter and a scale that measures anxiety degree taken from Aguilar. The conclusions were: 51.7% of the relatives presented bad information level during the surgical waiting time, 41.7% of them presented maximum anxiety during the surgical waiting time; and, finally, it was determined that there is a highly significant association between the level of information and the degree of anxiety of the family member during the surgical waiting.
