Evidencias de validez de la escala de resiliencia de Wagnild y Young en estudiantes de un instituto tecnológico superior de La Libertad

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como principal objetivo determinar las evidencias de validez de la escala resiliencia de Wagnild y Young en estudiantes de instituto tecnológico superior de La Libertad. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 3,096 estudiantes de ambos sexos, de diversas carreras técnicas pertenecientes a un Instituto Técnico Superior, cursando el año académico 2019 – I. Las edades oscilaron entre 18 a 35. Se obtuvo que en el análisis factorial confirmatorio se encuentra un ajuste bueno dado que el índice de bondad de ajuste (GFI), es .92 indicado como valor mínimo aceptable, que confirma la estructura factorial y el modelo teórico. Las evidencias de validez de constructo mediante el método ítem total e ítem escala reportan valores en su mayoría superiores a 0.20. La confiabilidad de consistencia interna es de .815. Se construyeron normas percentiles y puntos de corte. Se finaliza refiriendo que la Escala de Resiliencia es un instrumento con evidencias de validez idóneas para los estudiantes del contexto de estudio.

The main objective of this research was to determine the validity evidences of the Wagnild and Young resilience scale in students of the Higher Technological Institute of La Libertad. The sample consisted of 3,096 students of both sexes, from various technical careers belonging to a Higher Technical Institute, studying the academic year 2019 - I. The ages ranged from 18 to 35 years old. It was obtained that in the confirmatory factor analysis a good fit is found since the goodness of fit index (GFI) is .92 indicated as the minimum acceptable value, which confirms the factorial structure and the theoretical model. The evidences of construct validity through the total item and scale item method report values mostly higher than 0.20. The internal consistency reliability is .815.
