Plan de mantenimiento preventivo para incrementar la disponibilidad operativa de los buses de la empresa de transportes Expreso Trandia S.A.C - Trujillo

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo principal incrementar la disponibilidad operativa mediante un plan de mantenimiento preventivo de los buses de la empresa Expreso Trandia S.A.C - Trujillo. La empresa cuenta con 10 años brindando servicio de transporte interprovincial, contando con una flota de 11 buses. Las unidades de la empresa durante el año 2021 y 2022 han presentado fallos en los distintos sistemas debido al ausente mantenimiento en sus unidades. Se realizó un inventario técnico de la flota de 11 buses de la empresa, donde se encontró que todas las unidades estaban en aparente buen estado, que con los distintos métodos de recolección de datos se hallaron fallos recurrentes en los diferentes sistemas en los buses, que afectaban directamente su disponibilidad para trabajar. Después de hallar las horas trabajadas totales de los buses y el tiempo de reparación total de los buses (paradas programadas y no programadas) se pudo obtener la disponibilidad de la empresa Expreso Trandia S.A.C de 90,76% durante el mes de julio 2021 hasta julio del 2022. Durante el estudio se utilizó la metodología de Pareto, encontrando diferentes fallas en los diferentes sistemas de las unidades de transporte y se identificaron las áreas a los cuales se dará mayor prioridad. Después, se procedió a verificar los manuales y fichas técnicas de los buses para analizar el tipo de mantenimiento y el tiempo utilizado en cada mantenimiento. Con esta información obtenida, se elaboró un plan de mantenimiento preventivo, obteniendo un ahorro de S/. 29,695.00 con respecto al año 2021, de esta manera aumentando la disponibilidad del 91% al 96% de todos los buses de la empresa Expreso Trandia S.A.C - Trujillo.

The main objective of this research work is to increase operational availability through a preventive maintenance plan for the buses of the company Expreso Trandia S.A.C - Trujillo. The company has been providing interprovincial transportation services for 10 years, with a fleet of 11 buses. The units of the company during the years 2021 and 2022 have presented failures in the different systems because of the absence of maintenance in their units. A technical inventory of the fleet of 11 buses of the company was carried out, where it was found that all the units were in apparently good condition, that with the different data collection methods recurrent failures were found in the different systems in the buses, that directly affected their availability to work. After finding the total hours worked by the buses and the total repair time of the buses (scheduled and unscheduled stops), it was possible to obtain the availability of the company Expreso Trandia S.A.C of 90.76% during the month of July 2021 until July of 2022. During the study, the Pareto methodology was used, finding different failures in the different systems of the transport units and identifying the areas to which the highest priority will be given. Afterward, the manuals and technical sheets of the buses were verified to analyze the type of maintenance and the time used in each maintenance. With this information obtained, a preventive maintenance plan was developed, obtaining a saving of S/.29,695.00 with respect to the year 2021, this increasing the availability from 91% to 96% of all the buses of the company Expreso Trandia S.A.C. - Trujillo.
