Abstract
Material y método: Se realizó un estudio experimental in vitro, transversal,
Filtek One Bulk Fill Restorative A2, Tetric® N-Ceram Bulk Fill IVA y Opus Bulk Fill
UU.) y Valo
(Ultradent Products, South Jordan, EE.
power mode y extra power mode.
programa SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Inc. IBM, NY, USA)
dentinaria al utilizar dos unidades de fotocurado Objective: This study sought to evaluate polywave (PW) and monowave (MW)
LED curing units on the microtensile bond strength (µTBS) of bulk-fill resins, using
different curing times.
Material and method: An in vitro, cross-sectional, prospective experimental study
was carried out, for which Third molars were used and restored, the resins Filtek
One Bulk Fill Restorative A2, Tetric® N-Ceram Bulk Fill IVA and Opus Bulk Fill
APS A2 were used, each one was placed with its respective adhesive system and
they were light-cured with Elipar Deep cure L (3M ESPE, Saint Paul, USA) and
Valo (Ultradent Products, South Jordan, USA) in its three modes, standard mode,
high power mode and extra power mode. It was cut from the teeth obtaining 15
microbars per group. Microtensile tests were performed. Data were analyzed using
the SPSS program (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences Inc. IBM, NY, USA)
version 24.0. Descriptive and inferential analysis was performed considering a
significance value of 5% (p<0.05), with a type I error.
Results: Filtek One Bulk Fill, Tetric N-Ceram Bulk and Opus Bulk Fill had
higher bond strength when light-cured with a monowave lamp compared to the
polywave lamp at three different cure times and modes.
Conclusion: There are significant differences when comparing dentin adhesive
strength when using two light-curing units.
